104 satellites launched by ISRO including 96 from United States

A record 104 number of satellites were launched by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) on 9th February 2017. 104 satellites include PSLV-C37 also known as Cartosat-2 series satellite and 103 co-passenger satellites. All the satellites were launched from the First Launch Pad (FLP) of Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, India.

103 Co-passenger satellites consist of 101 nanosatellites out of which 96 are from the United States of America (USA) and one each from Kazakhstan, Israel, The Netherlands, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
